Meet at the steps just north of the Belvedere Castle plaza that overlook Turtle Pond.Relative difficulty: Easy, stationary viewing from one location\n\n\n\nRegistration is not required for this hawk watch. \n\n\n\nPlease join fellow Linnaean Society members to watch for hawks from the viewing platform next to Belvedere Castle overlooking Turtle Pond in Central Park. \n\n\n\nTarget Raptors: Broad-Wing Hawk, American Kestrel, Sharp-shined Hawk, Cooper’s Hawk, Bald Eagle and Osprey.\n\n\n\nConditions look decent and although nothing in birdwatching is guaranteed, the timing is right, the winds are forecast from the right direction.
