Registrar will also inform participants of the carpool fee, which is based on the trip location; the cost of any rental cars should be split evenly by those participants.Meeting Point: After your registration is confirmed, the Registrar will share directions, the exact meeting place, and time with attendees.Schedule: This trip generally ends in the afternoon.Relative Difficulty: The terrain is generally flat and easy to walkTrip Description: Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, in Westchester County, New York, is a perennial destination for butterfly aficionados, and this is a peak date for early summer species when nectar-rich dogbane and milkweed come into bloom. Targets include many skippers and showy “true” butterflies, which are hard to find in significant numbers elsewhere. Ward Pound Ridge is also a top site for odonates, invertebrates, reptiles, and many birds.\n\n\n\nRegistration: Registration opens at 9 am on Monday, May 25.
