Elijah’s project City Of Birds is a collection of instrumental jazz songs dedicated to all the birds he’s seen in New York City. Some of these compositions are directly influenced by specific birds’ songs or calls, while others are more abstract musical portraits of a species’ behavior, habitat, or even the circumstances of a specific sighting.
