Who collects nature data—and where are the gaps?

Join us for a talk with Deja Perkins exploring how participatory science shapes what we know about conservation, and what we might be missing.

Using tools like eBird and iNaturalist, her work reveals how uneven participation across urban landscapes creates blind spots in environmental data, and why expanding access to nature is essential for a fuller picture.

A Time to Heal: Indigenous Biocultural Restoration

The Great Gull Island Bird-A-Thon is back!

Each spring, birders come together to celebrate migration and raise funds to protect the incredible Common and Roseate Tern colony on Great Gull Island.

Last year our community raised nearly $10,000 to support tern conservation. This year we’re hoping to soar even higher.

📅 Note: We’re gathering one weekend earlier than usual this year to avoid the Mother's Day overlap with World Migratory Bird Day.

Grab your binoculars, start a team, and join the flock.
