Conditions appeared ideal for a hawk watch, with a high-pressure system moving through overnight and bringing strong northerly winds. However, the system also cleared out all the clouds, leaving a bright blue sky—a challenging backdrop for spotting migrating raptors. Despite this, several large skeins of Canada Goose were observed, along with many Turkey Vultures, three Bald Eagles, and several other raptor species.
