Birding the MET

Transportation: Public Transportation: Participants can use public transportation to arrive at the meeting location.
Meeting Point: After your registration is confirmed, the Registrar will share directions, the exact meeting place, and time with attendees.
Schedule: Half-day trip
Relative Difficulty: Easy. Indoor walking around the climate controlled museum.
Trip Description: Join us as we explore the beauty and significance of birds in the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s collection. We will view the artistry of birds across various civilizations, cultures, and traditions from the earliest art of the Egyptians through modern times.

Registration: Registration opens at 9 am on Monday, January 26. After that time, click here to register. Registration closes at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 3. Members (and those who have applied for membership) will be prioritized over non-members. The group size of this trip needs to be small, so register early!
