Central Park North End Fall Migration Walk with Jeff Kimball

Transportation: Public Transportation: Participants can use public transportation to arrive at the meeting location.
Meeting Point: After your registration is confirmed, the Registrar will share directions, the exact meeting place, and time with attendees.
Schedule: Half-day, ending in early afternoon.
Relative Difficulty: We will walk on paved and unpaved paths with some moderate inclines.
Trip Description: Central Park is known as one of the best birding spots in the world, with the North Woods being its hidden gem. Join Jeffrey Kimball in exploring some of its hotspots, which could include the Great Hill, Children’s Glades, South and East Blowdown, Pool, Block House, Lily Ponds, Loch, Wildflower Meadow, Grassy Knoll, Nursery, Conservatory Garden or Harlem Meer (including the recently opened Davis Center). Jeff is the producer and director of Birders: The Central Park Effect, a documentary film that focuses on our beloved park. Jeff is also the former President of the Board of the NYC Bird Alliance.
Registration: Registration opens at 9 am on Monday, September 7. After that time, click here to register. Registration closes at 6 pm on Wednesday, September 16. Members (and those who have applied for membership) will be prioritized over non-members.
