Central Park Fall Migration Walk with Richard Davis, Elijah Shiffer, and Kevin Sisco, 9/1/2026

Registrar: Debbie Mullins
Participants: 36
Weather: 67° – 75° F, rain, drizzle, and fog
Bird Species: 39

Despite the unfavorable weather, we had a good turnout for the first migration walk of the new season. We divided into three groups and birded in Strawberry Fields and the Ramble. We had to curtail the walks earlier than usual because of the rain but still saw 39 species, including ten warbler species. Fall migration is off to a good start!
