Participants will be responsible for their own transportation. However, the registrar will help connect those in need of a ride with other participants who are able to offer one. (The exact meeting place and time will be shared with attendees after their registration is confirmed.)
Schedule: The walk usually ends shortly after lunch.
Relative difficulty: The terrain is mainly uphill in the beginning, with a short, steep incline that then gradually flattens. Be prepared to walk at least three miles.
Doodletown is full of colonial history, with the foundations of houses and schools still present. Cerulean Warblers, Hooded Warblers, Yellow-throated Vireos, Scarlet Tanagers, and Indigo Buntings continue to breed here, and less common migrants are always a possibility.
