On a warm sunny day, fifteen birders, several of whom braved the vagaries of the F train to reach the meeting place, walked over the Hill of Graves, then down and across the cemetery to Valley Water and the areas surrounding Sylvan Water. Other stops were Dell and Crescent Waters. Highlights were an American kestrel perched on top of a tree on the hill above Crescent Water, Savannah Sparrow and Louisiana Waterthrush.
